Since you're the only person from whom I take knitting advice (everybody else is such a damn amateur), I gave circs another try. I'd tried to embrace them years ago and just found that I liked dpns better. This time was the same. Here's my sitch: a) I like the flexibility of dpns, b) I hate how the wire on circs introduces an additional element to consider... is it too long? too short? always seems to be too something, which makes me miserable! c) with many projects, you have to switch to dpns at the end anyway, and d) the way the wire sometimes gets cricks in it drives me nuts. P.S. Those chocolates are beautiful!
